Search of harmony - thoughts during a golden hour photoshoot

It’s about Photography - again!

Yesterday I a took a bunch of photos during the “golden hour” and had one of these moments of pure joy. Photographing allows me to step back and see my work with other eyes. It was such an enjoyable moment, it felt pure.

It took me years to really enjoy the creative side of photography. This medium always seemed so much about technique - right light, right material, right angle - it seemed full of rules to me. Little by little - after years of struggling, taking classes , trials and failures, I finally believe that photography is like any other art and craft form: you need skills, you need to understand, there is a learning curve with frustrations and happy accidents but finally you have to forget about all this to free yourself little by little and then suddenly you feel -it’s part of you. You have a new voice, a new way to express, share and understand your vision.

“Inspiration existes but it has to find you working” - Pablo Picasso

Photography is more and more an important part of my process. It stimulates my imagination and creativity. It helps me to be proud of what I do.

It’s all a about harmony. A good picture has harmony, as a good sculpture or a painting, a decoration, a wearable… It’s hard to describe, impossible to think with our brain only - you just know when something is good, when something enters the sphere of art.

Feeling the harmony is addictive. It makes happy and once you’ve tasted it you will have to go and get it every day!

Art is my drug, art is my religion!
