Professional techniques & magic

My aim is to teach professional techniques and to spread the magic of making art. I have experienced how powerful being creative with our hands is. It gives enjoyment and fulfillment. It allows to create a more balanced, happier life. Making art is about self discovery and self love!

My professional background

Keen about making things and driven to Arts & Crafts since my early childhood, I studied architecture but finally ended-up as a graphic designer! This was just the beginning of a wired carrer!

In 2004 I felt in love with wet felting to a point that I had to quit my day job and concentrate on my passion. It has been the best choice I’ve ever made in my life! It allowed me to become the life embracing, happy and generous person I am meant to be (as much as you!).

Addicted to creativity

I’m addicted to creativity in any form and as an avid learner, can’t stop to explore all kind of Arts & Crafts. Over the years I have added many different techniques to my palette of possibilities. This forged my recognizable, outstanding and unique style. I see myself as an textile & mixed media artist, specialized in wet felting and free motion stitching but mixing and matching with everything that crosses my mind.

Every now and then I fall in love with a new technique and have to explore it. This way I have worked with ceramic, transfer techniques, painting (by hand and digitally), cyanotype, enameling, metal smiting, collage making, basketry…

Once I have integrated a technique it allows me to combine in function of what I want / need to express. I believe, the more techniques we have under our fingertips the freer we can make art and live our unique creativity.

Practicing Arts & Crafts on a daily level, got me convinced that making art is magic! It makes our lives happier and enables us to become our truest self. Art allows to spreads good vibes for us and others. And this knowledge, this power is what I also love to share in my teaching!

My main goal is and will always be: spreading the healing vibes of making art! For Elizabeth Gimbert being creative is getting in touch with “The big Magic”. Like her I believe that: “you have treasures hidden within you - extraordinary treasures -(…). And bringing those treasure to light takes work and faith and focus and courage and hours of devotion!”

Let’s do it together, let me be your tour guide! Not because I’m more talented - I’m not - I just have devoted my whole life on creating things and have learnt some short cuts to access the magic!

Small groups for an individual learning experience

My classes are very small (4-6 for face to face classes, 6 to 8 online) because my aim is to guide you individually, allowing you to connect with your very unique creativity and to

awake the artist in you

I believe in the artist in each of us! It’s the inner child we have all been and who enabled us to grow and evolve. This inner child is our truest self, often buried under layers of education, fears and interdictions.

Through playful and intuitive art making we are able to get in touch with it, dialogue with it, integrate it into our lives. There is a double side effect when creating intuitively: it allows to create more authentic art AND find balance and live a happier life!

Face to face classes have to be booked by email or phone.

Workshop online

online event are linked to a ticket in my online shop. Once purchased you are signed in. A welcome email with further details arrives within 48h in your email-box!

Would you like to schedule your individual program? Do you prefer a solo class or like to bring friends?

The workshops “à la carte” allow you to create the perfect program. You decide what we create, the timing and whether you want to do it alone or with others.

Email-me and tell me your wishes. If you like we can also schedule a phone call to discuss your needs / wishes.

- Solo Tarifs 2022/23

• 1 jour : 600 euros

• 2 jours : 1100 euros

• 3 jours :1600 euros

• 4 jours: 2100 euros

• 5 jours: 2500 euros

For groups of 2-6 persons please ask for my special offers!

CANCELLATION

If for any reason you have to cancel a class, these are the conditions:

Online

For 1 day events no cancellation is possible!
However if you can’t join the event you signed in for, I’ll do my best to find another spot on another date.

For several day workshops a cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the beginning of the workshop. Your deposit fee will be reimbursed less a cancelation fee of 40 euros.

Less than 30 jours before the workshop, the deposit won’t be refund. However I will do my best to allow you join the event on another date. In the studio

Workshops in person at the art studio

• until 30 days before the workshop, your deposit fee will be reimbursed less a administration fee of 60 euros.

• less than 30 jours before the workshop, the deposit won’t be refund unless another student can be found.
