Do you want to be creative with friends with me as a facilitator? I’m happy to work out a customized program for you and your friends. The price is degressiv in function of the number of participants. A minium of 4 persons is required. 8 is the maximum.

Ariane Mariane
ART & Teaching
Independent artist, teacher, and psychopraticien, Ariane Mariane facilitates artistic and personal growth. She has taught “in-person workshops” all over Europe as well as in the USA. Since 2020, she also teaches online. Her most popular workshop, “Mixed media felt-art," explores unusual techniques for wet-felting and opens a very intuitive and free approach to the beautiful technique of feltmaking.
Mixed Media Felt Art
Ever since Ariane Mariane got involved with wet-feltmaking in 2004, she has been frustrated to see the shiny colors of the wool fibers and fabrics getting dull in the fascinating, transformative process. More in awe with the technique and the qualities of felt than with the final outcome, the artist started to experiment with mixed media techniques to enhance the felted surface. Little by little, she developed her very own artistic approach and authentique expression.
Teaching philosophie
Everything she has learned, her skills as well as her approach, is what the artist transmits in her workshops.
She sees herself as a facilitator of personal and artistic growth. Her aim is to guide her students on their own unique path by transmitting techniques and skills that helped her to dive freely into her creativity. Through playful exercises, students will apply the techniques and discover what works best for them. This way they will create their own tool box and their authentic way of self-expression with and on felt.
Ariane Mariane uses both her artistic and psychological skills to support her students with her best intention.

Professional background
Keen about making things and driven to Arts & Crafts since early childhood, Ariane Mariane studied architecture and finally worked several years as a graphic designer! This was the closest she was able to get to what she loved most doing in her life—creating things. Feeling not talented enough and also afraid of “what her family and society would think of her,” she never even admitted to herself that she would love to become an artist.
Deep rest - depressed - change of life
In 2004, she discovered felt-making and felt in love. It allowed her to overcome a post-baby depression she suffered from since 2003. Felt making made her feel alive again. Touching the fibers instead of tapping on a keyboard or working virtually on a graphic tablet was so much more fulfilling—so much joy! It made her heart swing and embrace life again. It also taught her patience and brought balance. A great deal for a young mom! Little by little, it became evident to her that she needed to create if she wanted to live a fulfilled life. It was lifesaving to create with her hands; it turned her in a better version of herself. T

Small groups for an individual learning experience
Ariane Marian’s classes are very small: Maxi 8 students to allow to guide each student individually and support her / him on in the discovery of her/his authentique voice.

Face to face classes have to be booked by email or phone.

Workshop Conditions
CANCELLATION
If for any reason you have to cancel a class, these are the conditions:
Online
For 1 day events no cancellation is possible!
However if you can’t join the event you signed in for, I’ll do my best to find another spot on another date.
For several day workshops a cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the beginning of the workshop. Your deposit fee will be reimbursed less a cancelation fee of 40 euros.
Less than 30 jours before the workshop, the deposit won’t be refund. However I will do my best to allow you join the event on another date. In the studio
Workshops in person at the art studio
until 30 days before the workshop, your deposit fee will be reimbursed less a administration fee of 60 euros.
